How to get from Bangkok to Hua Hin? By Car, Taxi, Mini Van & Bus

Hua Hin is a popular place to visit on weekends. It is 144 KM  from Bangkok in the south. The quiet beach of Hua Hin gives you a soothing effect after a hustle bustle life in Bangkok. There are several transportation ways to reach there. 

1. By Taxi

If you’d prefer your ease and comfort more than the money, then you definitely should travel by taxi. The taxis have set prices for destinations. For Hua Hin, it is 3000 baht. In case you are in the center of the city, it may get low cost to 2000 baht. It takes 3 hours of comfy journey to reach your spot. You’ve got an alternative choice of renting a car if your stay is perfect for a more extended period. Rental cars can be utilized when you have a booking beforehand. 3. By Mini Van. 

The cheapest way to reach anywhere is by minivan. 

The minivan from Bangkok to Hua Hin will take up to 3 to 4 hours. 

The van is with 10 to 12 people capacity well equipped and air-conditioned. The cost is 180 baht. 

The minivans have their locations like Ekkamai or Khao San road and Mo chit new van terminal. The journey is less comfortable as there are other people with you. 

4. By Bus

The route varies from the point you want to take the bus.

From Suvarnabhumi Airport:

If you are near Suvarnabhumi Airport, then the 24 seat bus will take you to Hua Hin, and the bus is present at the airport. These buses offer toilets, food and water, and comfortable seats. The service is going to be provided near gate number 8 on the ground floor. The ticket for this bus cost you 340 baht. The buses depart eight times a day from 9 am and each and every hour and 30min after that. It should take 3 to 4 hours to get to Hua Hin or perhaps a little more if the visitors are heavy. The buses permit 20 kgs of weight at no cost.

From the center of the city:

If you reside in the center of Bangkok, you need to catch a bus to Hua hin from Sai Tai Mai, the south terminal. These buses normally takes approximately 5 to 6 hours to achieve the vacation spot. You’d probably need to have a taxi to the station going from Sukhumvit or Khao San road. The ticket cost of these buses is 200 to 300 baht. You can purchase a ticket upon arrival, or it is possible to book in advance as well.

These buses leave after every 20 minutes.
